NICHE begins as a single block of concrete with a deep niche carved into it. The light source is hidden beneath the niche's upper edge, out of direct view. Light strikes the sloping, curved surface inside and spills out onto the path as a soft, indirect glow.
By day NICHE is a crisp, quiet sculpture whose inner curve shifts its shadow with the sun. At dusk the same curve carries the light, and the fixture glows in the garden like a warm lantern.
At 60 cm tall on a 16 × 16 cm square base, it sets a calm rhythm along garden paths, villa entrances, stair landings and planted borders. The 20 kg concrete body gives it a solid, lasting stance. It works on its own or in a row as a path light along walkways.

Frequently Asked Questions
What bulb does NICHE take?
NICHE comes with a standard GU10 socket; the bulb is not included. You can fit any GU10 LED bulb in the wattage and colour temperature you like. For a warm outdoor atmosphere, bulbs around 2700–3000 K are recommended.
Can it be used indoors and outdoors?
Yes. NICHE works both indoors and outdoors. It is water-resistant and has been tested outdoors at our atelier. We recommend that the electrical connection is made by a qualified electrician.
Are any screws visible after installation?
No. All fixing details are concealed; no screws or fixing marks are visible on the body.
Is every piece identical?
Every NICHE is made by hand, one at a time, in our atelier. Concrete naturally shows variations in pores and tone, and these variations make each piece unique.
