PORTAL is a soft-edged concrete body with an open centre. Two slender columns hold the opening like a frame, so the garden, tree or wall behind it reappears inside the silhouette.
The light source is hidden at the top of the opening. At night the light runs down its inner faces and the fixture becomes a glowing doorway, visible from both front and back. That makes PORTAL especially striking in the middle of a path, in spaces seen from both sides, and along pool edges.
At 66 cm tall, 19.5 cm wide and only 11 cm deep, it draws a slim, elegant silhouette. Rounded edges translate the hardness of concrete into a softer language. It works on its own or in a row as a path light along walkways.

Frequently Asked Questions
What bulb does PORTAL take?
PORTAL comes with a standard GU10 socket; the bulb is not included. You can fit any GU10 LED bulb in the wattage and colour temperature you like. For a warm outdoor atmosphere, bulbs around 2700–3000 K are recommended.
Can it be used indoors and outdoors?
Yes. PORTAL works both indoors and outdoors. It is water-resistant and has been tested outdoors at our atelier. We recommend that the electrical connection is made by a qualified electrician.
Are any screws visible after installation?
No. All fixing details are concealed; no screws or fixing marks are visible on the body.
Is every piece identical?
Every PORTAL is made by hand, one at a time, in our atelier. Concrete naturally shows variations in pores and tone, and these variations make each piece unique.
